The house is FINALLY painted!

OK- So I am sure you don't want to look at all the house pictures that I took but please do take the time to check these ones out. The house was this light blue color. Doesn't really pop out at you does it?

And the front of the porch was barn red. But the inside of the porch is done!

Yes- I was at the top of that extension ladder. I had to look at the wall on the way up because everything below me kept moving with each step. Once I was at the top I was more comfortable though!

Here's a finished wall with stutters back on.

Nick job was to remove and put the shutters back up.

The front of our newly painted house. Green with white trim and tan accents. That's a big change from blue. We like it!

Another view
I like this picture best!

One more view

The yes i did paint the back of the house too.

A bit more scenic view from behind the house.
So the spring project was actually completed in the spring. Image that! I'm just happy that it looks good and is finaly done!
Yeah us!!!

Tim is the BIG FIVE-O

Here's Tim- the birthday boy. Or should we say man now that he is 50?
What did he do to get those beads anyway?

And here's Ma. Image that- holding onto the over the hill survival stand. Hmmm!

Lisa, Sally, Rick, and Chase

Miss Dalys- always ready with a pretty smile!

Tim is always surrounded with kids. Maybe that is because of the cake this time.

Yep- must be the cake!

Here's blurry Ashley. When did she grow up?

And Jayden- look at the dimples!

Gary and Jim.
Dotegowski family- does anypone recognize those camping lights?

This is our camp sight at Nick's mom's house. Pretty nice, huh?

And this is the view. Like I said- not bad, huh?

Duke the Dog

And we can't forget our Boomer. He is still learning to be a good camper. Thank heavens his hair is growing back!

Ma and Nick

And in case you didn't know Nick set up the motion camera in the woods.
You're on candid camera.
BEWARE!

Geno pushing Chase up the hill. What a good daddy!

As the night went on some people needed a bit of help getting up the hill. You have to look closely (becasue this is night vision) but Sally has ahold of Ricks belt loop. Must be time for the party to end. Nighty night Sal!

Memorial Day Camping 2010 at Harwood Haven Franklinville NY

I am happy to say that camping time is here again. On Memorial Day and Labor Day we still go with a huge group of other campers. This is a picture of most of the campers but I couldn't fit all of them in. It's nice when we are all on the same row or in the same area because our weekends turn into a big eating and drinking festival with everyone going from site to site enjoying each others goodies.

Nick took a couple of pictures from inside our camper. We did have a great view of the hills across the way.

This one is a morning picture with the fog still hanging in the hills. Maybe next time we should go outside to take the pictures since I don't think this is doing it justice. It was really pretty!

So here I am inside the camper- had to add that one since I am usually the person with the camera and you don't get to see me.
Tom and Nick are getting ready for the clam festival and Ralph at Deb's campsite. This is a tradition each year with both raw and steamed clams. Yummy!

Boomer got to go camping with us. Everyone thought he was very cute and loving. I even had one person offer to take him home with her. He was usually snoozing on the couch if he was inside the camper so I'm not sure how I got a picture of him on the floor. Look how dirty those paws are!

John (the guy waving) is the owner of Harwood Haven. This is the first year his camp was open and he really did some nice things for the opening- including having horse rides for everyone.

Will Nicky ever put the bottle down? LOL- at least he doesn't drink from THAT bottle anymore. He has his drink in his hand so stop freakin out!
The machine below him is actually 3 blenders in one. The ice goes in the top and it moves from blender to blender and drops the right amount of ice into it to make perfect blender drinks. The lady that brought this soon became known as the"Master Blender"

This is a guy names John- but I took the picture because the camp owner also got the inflatable castle for the kids to play in. Fun, huh? I don't know why Nick wouldn't let me go in it!

The camp owner also set up a tent for our use and we had a huge potluck dinner on Saturday. Everything was delicious! It didn't take me long to fall asleep after that meal!

Can you beleive it? A clown too- Yep you bet.
Look at Boomer- his eyes are going to pop out of his head if Nick doesn't let him get away from that clown!
Guess it's not only kids that are scared of clowns.

Lounging.... and catching some rays!

One of the people we camp with has a bird and brought it for the weekend. We had a get a picture with the parrot. How fun is that?

Nick and Boomer coming back from a walk.

Both of them lounging again. Now where is there room for me in that bed? That's ok- I don't think I'd like to join that group!
Unfortunately we didn't get to use our tandem bike on this trip because the area was very hilly and full of rocks. Maybe next time there will be pics of that too!
